Product Description:

Nano technology based, long lasting paintwork sealant for paintwork or painted plastic components. It protects the paintwork through a coating of fluorocarbon modified nano particles that is as hard as glass. It intensively freshens up the colours, has a dirt repellent effect and provides an outstanding water droplet run off effect. Depending on the environmental conditions the product offers protection for up to 9 months.

Directions for use:

1. Pre-cleaning:

• Wash the vehicle and remove all surface dirt (with e.g. SONAX Spray & Clay).
• Shake the SONAX Premium Class Paint cleaner well, flip up the spout in the lid and apply some of the product onto the enclosed Application Sponge. Slightly moisten the sponge first.
• Apply the Paint cleaner with the sponge and polish immediately with moderate pressure. Work on part sections of about 1m² (i.e. half of a bonnet or one door). After a short time the polishing will become more arduous, the surface is now de-waxed. To achieve even better polishing results and an even deeper shine, apply a little more Paintwork Cleaner and repeat the polishing procedure.
• Afterwards, wipe off any residue with the enclosed red SONAX Microfibre Cloth. To avoid streaks fold the edges of the microfibre cloth inwards. Due to the deep cleaning, the shining paintwork will feel a little dull, it is now perfectly prepared for the subsequent sealing with SONAX Premium Class Nano paint coating.

2. Sealing:

• Pull off the safety ring under the SONAX Premium Class Nano paint coating applicator to activate the product.
• Press the can, with the applicator, vertically downwards for 1-2 seconds into the transparent cover to properly saturate the applicator cloth with the sealant. Now remove the cover. Always hold the can with the applicator facing vertically downwards, never horizontally or with the applicator facing upwards!
• Apply the sealant with the saturated applicator cloth sparingly and evenly. Be sure to work methodically in covering the surfaces, do not neglect any part of the paintwork surfaces! Always work on part sections, maximum size ½m² (e.g.1/4 of the bonnet), at one time.
• When the cloth dries out, once again press the applicator for 1-2 seconds into the transparent cover so that the cloth is again saturated with the Nano Paint Protect.
• Afterwards, exerting no pressure, use the white microfibre cloth to wipe away any smears, streaks or excess sealant. To achieve perfect results fold the edges of the microfibre cloth inwards. This stage of the process requires great care!
• To continue the sealing process, coat the next part section with the saturated applicator cloth, always ensure that there is slight overlapping with the previously polished out area!
• When a complete section of the vehicle has been sealed (e.g. complete bonnet, roof, door etc.), it is best to examine the paintwork surface in daylight for any smears, streaks or haze. If necessary, thinly apply the sealant again locally, and work on the surface with the microfibre cloth. Retouching work is only possible within an hour of applying the Nano Coating!

Please Note Especially:

• Do not carry out this work in direct sunlight or on hot paintwork surfaces.
• Nano Paint Protect is not suitable for heavily scratched or weathered paintwork.
• The sealed surfaces must be allowed to harden for at least 1 hour.
• During this time the vehicle must be kept dry and may not be touched.
• After application of the coating, the sealed vehicle should not be washed for the first three days.

 Maintenance of the sealed vehicle:

• The sealed vehicle should not be polished!
• When soiled, a simple shampoo wash - preferably by hand or with a HP-sprayer, is sufficient.
• Waxing is no longer required, as maximum shine and optimum water run-off effect return with washing.
• When washing in automatic car washes, it must be ensured that the vehicle is not sprayed with alkaline cleaning concentrates (e.g. manual pre-wash in conveyerised car washes).

Safety data:

• Remove contaminated clothing.
• Ensure supply of fresh air.
• In case of contact with the skin, wash with soap and water and rinse thoroughly.
• In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with water
• Do not induce vomiting. Refer for medical treatment.
